Our Spaces On Campus

  • Battell Chapel

    Home of the University Church in Yale, this 19th century church on campus also hosts a variety of other religious and secular events.

  • Breathing Space

    A quiet, technology free space for sacred text study, reflection, meditation and creativity.

  • Buddhist Shrine

    A home for Yale’s Buddhist community in the Harkness Tower of Branford College, open Sunday to Thursday evenings through the semester.

  • Chaplain's Office

    A cozy lounge that is the heart of Yale’s chaplaincy, with comfortable couches, snacks, and free ice cream (yes, really) in the Bingham D basement.

  • Dwight Chapel

    A sacred space built as part of Dwight Hall, which hosts events from a variety of faith traditions.

  • Hindu Prayer Room

    Home of Yale’s Hindu community, available for individual prayer and contemplation on request, and home to cultural and spiritual programs.

  • Musalla

    Home of Yale’s Muslim community, available for prayer at any time of the day or night.
