Has it really been a year already?

Take this time to reflect on what your life has been like this past year.  Have you found more time to communicate with friends and family?  Has there been any hobbies you picked up?  Or maybe there are things you use to do and now long to do them such as holding social gatherings, going to the community pool, an amusement park, or anything we would consider “normal” just a year ago…

For me, when I sit in my quiet place, I think of how many times I say I will do something and put it off.  It can wait for tomorrow or next week.  Over the last year I have learned not to take life for granted.  In the blink of an eye, a storm can erupt and change everything in an instance just like this pandemic has done.

So, I leave you to Consider This: Do not leave things for tomorrow that can be done today.

Do not boast about tomorrow,
for you do not know what a day may bring.
