I reflected on this quote by the Persian poet, Hafez, as I was walking through the woods on a crisp Fall afternoon. In the midst of palpable anxiety and unrest around us these days, it reminded me of the power of our individual stories and our inherent self-worth. We all feel marginalized at points in our lives, but this quote reminds us to look inward to find the light to illuminate our outward paths.
