Sam has been a Connecticut native for his whole life, growing up in the town of Wethersfield before attending college in New Haven at Southern Connecticut State University. After being part of the undergraduate InterVarsity chapter at SCSU, Sam came on staff with IV and has served as the main campus staff for SCSU since 2015, as well as various New England regional roles during that time. He continues to love the way InterVarsity develops and empowers students to lead in Christian ministry contexts while they are on campus. Sam began also working at Yale in 2024. He has served at church as a worship leader and occasional preacher. In his free time, you can usually find him doing something creative, watching baseball, being outside, or searching for a great cup of coffee.
