Iffy

The InterFaith Forum at Yale (IFFY) welcomes undergraduates interested in building community across a wide variety of religious and spiritual identities and understandings. Over weekly dinners, IFFY aspires to foster a safe space for respectful dialogue, diverse thought, beneficial confusion, humility, joyful curiosity, laughter, and generous listening. The core value of the group is to nurture conversation where people speak with authority about their own experience and not on religious or spiritual communities.

IFFY seeks to promote religious literacy to the wider Yale community by modeling a willingness to be counter-cultural in how we interact with one another. Our aim is to foster an environment of deep appreciation, respect, and wonder about religious and spiritual traditions. IFFY meets weekly on Mondays from 5:30-6:30 in the Chaplain’s Office.

If you are interested in participating in IFFY, please contact the University Chaplain Maytal Saltiel.
