Key Contributions:
  • Dedicated space on campus for a Hindu Prayer Room in 2010, a Buddhist Shrine in 2012, and Breathing Space in 2011 (a technology-free creative, text study and meditation space)
  • Hired the first Hindu Fellow to serve the Yale Hindu student community in 2010
  • Conferences hosted at Yale: Global Conference of Chaplains in Higher Education in 2012 and Coming Together 7 in 2015
  • Started the Interfaith Forum at Yale, a group of undergraduates who meet weekly over dinner to build community across a wide variety of religious and spiritual identities and understandings
