Meditation Workshop with Dr. Rebecca Li - Tuesday, 6:30PM, Harkness Tower Shrine Room
We’re excited to welcome Dr. Rebecca Li for a meditation workshop, beginning with a brief discussion of meditation practice in Buddhism, followed by a guided meditation during which instructions on sitting posture and methods of sitting meditation will be covered. The workshop will end with an open Q&A.
Dr. Rebecca Li is a Dharma heir in the Chan lineage of Master Sheng Yen. She leads residential retreats at Dharma Drum Retreat Center in upstate New York, teaches at Dharma centers and university groups in NJ, NY, CT and PA, and was recently a panelist at 2016 Buddhism & Race Conference organized by the Harvard Buddhist Community.
