Rev. Matt Coburn

Matt grew up in Boston and Pittsburgh, was educated at Princeton University (BA 1991) and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (MDiv1996), and then served in campus ministry with Cru for 15 years in the northeast and overseas, including 6 years at Yale.  He first came to Trinity Baptist Church in 2003 as a member, served as an elder, and joined the Trinity staff as co-pastor in 2011.  Matt’s responsibilities include student ministries, overseeing small groups, women’s ministry, and leadership development.  Matt was married in 2007 to Brandi, who went to be with the Lord in January 2015 after a 3 1/2 year battle with cancer.  He has two children, Elliot (Eli) and Katrina (Katie).
