On June 12, 2020, a group of students from various faith backgrounds, assisted by the Chaplain’s Office, held a vigil for Black lives over Zoom. Beautiful, powerful pieces of poetry, spoken word, and music were shared by students with the 200 people in attendance, followed by a closing blessing by Chaplain Sharon Kugler. Chaplain Kugler’s blessing can be found here: Vigil Blessing.

We hope you find this vigil a space to listen, grieve, and be in community with us, despite the physical barriers that may exist between us. Thank you to all the student leaders who put this vigil together!
