Lara Takasugi

Originally from Los Angeles, Lara ventured across the country to try out new things as a Yalie - pizza with mashed potatoes on top, life with rain boots, snow boots, and lots of scarves, and living in buildings older than Los Angeles itself. As an undergrad, she majored in history, fed her soccer fix with four years as part of the Yale Women’s Club Soccer family, and spent the year between her junior and senior year in Tokyo. She spent a year as an intern with Yale Students for Christ after graduating in 2010, and joined full-time staff in the summer of 2011. Now she loves to hang out in coffee shops, take students for late-night snacks, bake quirky desserts, and refresh her soul in nature.
