Diwali

The Yale Hindu Students Council and the Chaplain’s Office will host the 11th Annual Diwali Pooja on Friday, November 6th in the Commons Dining Hall within the Schwarzman Center at 7 pm. Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is celebrated throughout India. Our event will begin with a worship service led by the HSC Board. It will be followed by lighting sparklers on Beinecke Plaza and a traditional Indian dinner. The event is free and only open to the Yale and New Haven communities. The doors will open at 6 pm. Seating is limited.
